Devils Porridge Exhibition Centre and Residential Development, Eastriggs, Dumfriesshire
In collaboration with a local developer, we designed a contemporary building to house the Devils Porridge Exhibition in Eastriggs, dedicated to the history of the First World War munitions site that stretched along the Solway coast from Longtown to Annan. Positioned as a landmark at the entrance to the township, the building enhances the coastal tourist route and serves as a prominent cultural attraction.
In addition to the exhibition center, we developed a master plan for a residential community behind the site, accommodating around 100 new homes. We successfully secured planning permission for Phase 1, consisting of 27 houses, marking a significant step in expanding the township. This project showcases our ability to deliver both impactful public spaces and thoughtfully integrated residential developments.
