Architectural Technology Degree Apprenticeship Position

We are seeking a suitable candidate with an interest in architecture for the apprenticeship position within our studio. You will visit UCLAN during term time one day a week and the remainder of your time will be spent working alongside an experienced team within the studio.

The practice is a leading architectural practice in Cumbria working on the very best of projects including, high value bespoke residential design, commercial, industrial and master planning.

Your role will involve developing skills in all areas of architecture in order to support the team and as your experience grows learn to run and design your own projects.

The position is suited to somebody who is hard working, resilient and ambitious. It is a long road to becoming qualified and a dedicated work ethic to achieve a rewarding future is required. Your work will be visible for everyone to see and be proud of. Should you wish there is career progression in
a relevant Architecture Course or you may wish to work towards becoming part of the practice.

Essential Requirements:

  • Good academic record
  • Good IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Package
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Minimum 5 GCSE Grades A-C/5-9 including Maths , English and Science and/or
  • A Level grades suitable for direct entry onto accredited p/t apprenticeship course
  • Driving Licence or willing/working towards obtaining a UK Driving Licence
