Calder Foods (Manufacturing) Ltd manufacture sandwich fillings and marinated & cooked meats from their base in Carlisle. A significant investment to extend and refurbish their current plant is now complete and has seen the formation of a large incoming ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse together with mezzanine storage and a significant increase in main production facilities and associated chills and wash rooms as well as a new picking and despatch area.
Ashwood Design Associates Ltd were appointed as Project Manager and CDM Co-ordinator for the project.
The main contractor was Story Construction Ltd.
